Sorry its been a little bit since I did a review! I have been working alot with my youtube channel which I will post in this blog! But tonight I wanted to do a review on the Rimmel london BB cream and Maybelline dream fresh BB cream and tell you which one I think might be the best.
So the top one is the Rimmel BB cream and the bottom one is the Maybelline BB cream and you can tell instantly from this picture that the rimmel is a much more thicker consistency than the maybelline dream fresh BB cream.
Again with spreading them out the top one is the Rimmel and the bottom is the Maybelline
The Actual Review
So the Rimmel BB cream is a 9 in 1 with a SPF of 25 and it states it primes, moisturizes, minimizes pores, conceals, covers, smoothes, mattifies, brightens and helps protect and lasts all day. the maybelline claims to blur imperfections, enhances, brightens, adjust to skin tone, smoothes, hydrates, SPF 30 protects, 0% oils and other heavy ingredients.
What I think about the rimmel? I think the rimmel is more better than the other bb creams I have tried so far. It does have a thicker consistency as to where it covers more for me. Since my skin is not so clear it does help to cover area's that I need it to. The only drawback for me is that it does have quite a strong sunblock smell to it. I'm not sure if this would work good under a foundation because of the thickness of it, I have not tried that yet. The rimmel goes for about 6.99 at drugstores, It provides a spf of 25 and is 30 ml.
What I think about the Maybelline dream fresh 8 in 1 BB cream? I think the maybelline dream fresh is not a bb cream that really claims to do what it states. I do in a way like how it is thin so you can wear it under a foundation, but to me it doesn't really provide any coverage at all for my face, so basically when I wear it I am wearing it for the sun protection. Another thing that I do like about it is that it does not have strong sunblock smell but other than that I don't think I would repurchase this BB cream and it runs about 8.00 at drugstores, it provides a spf of 30 and is 30 ml.
Conclusion
I would definitely buy the rimmel again over most BB creams, it just provides more coverage and it cost far less than some of the other bb creams on the market and it actually does a better job. But if you are one that does not need the coverage then I would say pick up the maybelline dream fresh!
