Falling in love with elf :) chitchat

So i'm just going to do a little chit chat on my blog tonight and I hope you don't mind reading!
Anyway back in March I lost my job at Sitel, this is a call center and I worked for the verizon project and worked there almost a year, so I was going and going! I bought make up but did not put much thought into it, I suppose because I was always working and did not have the time to stop and think about it. But I have been at home since then and have very much developed an addiction to makeup. Heeeeeyyyy I guess you got to do some type of hobbies to keep your mind from going insane from being at home everyday and I do have a seven year old daughter here but most of the time she is outside playing with friends. I plan on looking for a job again when she goes back to school. But the whole thing is I do make extra money on the side its not a whole lot and I will do a blog about that soon to let people in on it! But I always try to find bargains on make-up! Whether it be drug store or high-end products. I am just really now getting a collection of make-up started. LOL compared to some of these youtube videos I see, it puts my make-up collection to shame. Which I don't think I need tons and tons of make-up that I won't use. But anyway I have recently just got into ELF makeup! I started seeing youtube videos about it, I came across it at target a couple times but I don't know why I just never picked any up. Now i'm like addicted because they got so many nice products and for the price, who can beat that? This month elf has been having some great deals because its there 9th birthday so you can check that out Here on their facebook page! I like to shop online a lot but I have to be honest I have not bought anything off the elf site yet. I have mainly gotten my elf from target and ebay! Also this is just a couple of things I have tried so far, I will be updating this post with new stuff I try from the line!!

So here are the things I have tried so far from elf
And these are not my actual pictures, cause its like almost midnight and my bathroom is located in my room and my hubby is sleeping! But this is what I have tried!

This is the elf eyelid primer! Wowza, I just got this today in the mail and I have to say it really works, and I think this stuff is only a dollar in store or 3!! I tried this for the first time today and my eyeshadow lasted so much longer. I have also tried urban decays primer and I was not too pleased with it. It was like after I put it on, my eyeshadow would not spread out, it was very hard to do any blending. So I was very pleased with this primer and I bet it is just as good as other High-end primers. I think its worth the couple bucks to try it out!!

Next thing I have tried is the elf gel liner
I bought this at target for a whooping 3 bucks!!! And I got it in the black!

I love this stuff, it works so well, the only thing I have noticed was the brush!! After a couple uses the brush seems to separate which is NOT good. So I might would recommend using another eyeliner brush for this! But if you don't have one, I have washed this a couple times, and that seemed to help the brush from separating because when it separates it causes the line you draw on the top of your eyelid to not go on straight and even, and I have to be honest with you guys, I never used to wear eyeliner on the top of my eyelids I don't know why, I tried with pencils but that never worked so once I got this, now everytime I wear makeup I have to have eyeliner on the tops of my lids! I doubt I will ever go back to not wearing it on my tops! I am also getting this in the color copper, I ordered it! It was only like 3 something on ebay but i'm actually going to go to target this weekend and see what elf products I can find!!

Okay last but not least
Elfs concealer and this is just cost one dollar and I think I got it at target! And I did see on their website that they have some others, one I seen was the elf HD concealer and it was three dollars, not sure if its sold in target stores I guess I will see what all is offered at target when I go!

Okay so I think this is an (medium okay concealer) I think this works good if you just have some very light dark circles or some light blemishes on your face. I don't feel like it compares to the Revlon age rewind concealer that I LOVE..and I am currently out and thats why I bought the elf to try. But honestly its not bad at all for a dollar and it has like a pleasant smell to it I don't know if its just me but good smell. My dark circles are horrible but I mean it helped some! But I do love the revlon one!!

Okay well Sunday I plan on going to target to see what else I can get from elf! And when I come back and try things out I will let you guys know what products I got and what I think about them!!

And Always
Thanks for reading!
